Prosperity Acres LLC has bought Hacienda Encantos, a 1,261,265 m2 coffee farm, about 126 hectares or 320.9 cuerdas, on Carretera 143 in Jauca, Jayuya, from Puerto Rico Coffee Roasters, LLC for $1,300,000. The sale deed was recorded on August 7, 2026. The price works out to about $4,050 per cuerda, or $10,300 per hectare. A $975,000 mortgage on the farm was recorded the same day, three quarters of the price.

Coamo - Development
The Municipality of Coamo has 14 construction, reconstruction and infrastructure projects under way at once, worth $18.315 million, the mayor announced on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, wjournalpr.com reported. VRM 2025, LLC bought a 23,582 m2 lot in Palmas del Mar, Candelero Abajo, Humacao, from Fernández Garzot LLC for $1,800,000. The sale deed was recorded on June 30, 2026. The property is Tract 2-A, marketed as Lot B-3 of PP-1A; the tax roll calls it "Unit 2". The price is about $76 per m2 of land, 2.4 hectares for $1.8 million.

Santa Isabel
A mortgage of $9,356,543.89 was recorded on August 4, 2026 on Lot A, Carretera 1 Km 106.4, Boca Velázquez, Santa Isabel, a 75-cuerda farm of 294,780 m2. The lender is Citibank, N.A., as collateral agent for the Federal Financing Bank, which the deed describes as an instrumentality of the United States Department of Energy. It is the only mortgage recorded in Puerto Rico that names the Federal Financing Bank.

Rangelands Inc. bought about 470 cuerdas (about 185 hectares) of rural land in Sabana Hoyos, Arecibo, and in neighbouring Barceloneta from Galateo Dairy Inc. for $1,450,000. The sale deed was recorded on August 14, 2026. The price works out to about $3,090 per cuerda, or about $0.79 per square metre.

Toyota de Puerto Rico will put more than $55 million into expanding and modernizing its Vehicle and Parts Distribution Center at Carretera 865 Km 4.9, Candelaria, Toa Baja, under a multiyear program that runs to 2031, El Vocero reported on October 21, 2026. The work adds about 30,000 square feet to the parts area, upgrades the areas where vehicles are received and dispatched, and brings in inventory-handling technology.
